Northern Carver County in east central Minnesota...
West Hennepin County in east central Minnesota...

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 1208 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Mayer, or 22 miles south of Buffalo,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Eden Prairie, Chaska, Chanhassen, Waconia, Mound, Orono, Victoria,
Minnetrista, Wayzata, St. Bonifacius, Excelsior, Mayer, Shorewood,
Deephaven, Greenwood, New Germany and Lake Waconia.
