  • Tornado Warning issued June 28 at 10:12PM CDT until June 28 at 10:30PM CDT by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN

    At 1012 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
    was located over Olivia, or 17 miles north of Redwood Falls, moving
    east at 50 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree
    damage is likely.

    Locations impacted include...
    Olivia, Bird Island and Danube.
