  • Tornado Warning issued June 28 at 9:08PM CDT until June 28 at 9:30PM CDT by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN

    At 908 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
    was located 6 miles northwest of Canby, or 32 miles west of
    Montevideo, moving east at 10 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree
    damage is likely.

    Canby and Burr.
