  • Tornado Warning issued June 28 at 7:07PM MDT until June 28 at 7:30PM MDT by NWS Rapid City SD

    From Sapien to All on Saturday, June 28, 2025 20:08:08
    At 707 PM MDT/807 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
    a tornado was located 10 miles northwest of Corn Creek, or 13 miles
    southeast of Kadoka, moving southeast at 30 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
    to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
    likely.

    Locations impacted include...
    Belvidere.

    This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 156
    and 164.
