The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Northeastern Wells County in south central North Dakota...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 1000 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 8 miles north of Fessenden, or 15 miles east of
Harvey, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Wells County, including the following locations...
Hamberg, Bremen, and Heimdal.
