  • Tornado Warning issued June 6 at 5:31PM MDT until June 6 at 5:45PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

    At 531 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
    was located 14 miles south of Seibert, moving east at 25 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
    to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
    likely.

    This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
    southwestern Kit Carson County.
