    South central Logan County in central Illinois...
    Northwestern Christian County in central Illinois...
    Northeastern Sangamon County in central Illinois...
    West central Macon County in central Illinois...

    * Until 100 PM CDT.

    * At 1227 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
    tornado was located near Pawnee, or 7 miles southeast of
    Springfield, moving northeast at 40 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
    damage is likely.

    Springfield and Rochester around 1230 PM CDT.
    Mechanicsburg around 1240 PM CDT.
