  • Tornado Warning issued June 17 at 12:38PM MDT until June 17 at 1:00PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY

    At 1237 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
    was located near Yellow Pine Campground, or 10 miles east of Laramie,
    moving northeast at 20 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
    to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
    likely.

    This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
    southeastern Albany and west central Laramie Counties.
