  • Tornado Warning issued June 8 at 4:03PM CDT until June 8 at 4:30PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX

    At 402 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
    was located 12 miles southwest of Goodnight, or 12 miles south of
    Claude, moving southeast at 25 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and softball size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
    shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
    to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
    likely.

    This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
    central Armstrong County.
