  • Upgrade to 3.20

    I am on Windows. I downloaded sbbs_dev and extracted that to exec directory.
    After that I ran jsexec update. It says missing c:\sbbs\ctrl\msgs.ini file..

    That's expected (not a fatal error). See https://wiki.synchro.net/install:dev

    ok, I ran it and seems not to convert the .cnf to .ini files.

    Any idea why getting this error?

    No quotation marks in line 1041 of text.dat

    it literally fucking tells you the problem.
    you edited it or you have some damage to that file.

    you're lucky, in my day it would just crash the bbs! and we liked it!
